Leave job while application processing
 

Hey guys,

My husband will be applying under the Canadian Experience class for PR.

My question is....after he has his years work experience is he free to leave his job or does he have to wait until we have PR?

Any advice would be great, thank you :thumbsup:

Yes, he is free to take another job. I did the same about 4 months into processing and it didn't affect the outcome.

Just out of interest what was your processing time? Apparently it's 13 months at the mo!!

I believe mine took 9 months to process, I even filled out a form wrong and they needed me to resend.
