Thumbs up Landing Question - Office timing at Border

Hi,
I wanted to know if there is any stipulated timings within which we have to land(windsor or Buffalo) via road.Does the offices (both USA immigration and Canadian Immigration at the Border) remain open on weekends and Holidays eg thanksgiving. Also I have recieved the visa with a letter stating that I have to land in Toronto(It has been told clearly that I cannot land in Quebec), Can I land anywhere else other than Quebec??
If any one has detailed information regarding the timings(any place over internet where I can find these), it will be much appreciated

Major border crossing (Windsor Buffalo) you can land at any time. If it is after midnight, you might have to wait until the Immigration officer arrives. S/he could be at another port. You can land anywhere you want except Quebec. The info that you want is contained in IR 7 Manual, which unfortuately is not on line. See: http://www.cic.gc.ca/manuals-guides/.../ir/index.html
