Default Landing next month- Advice on PR Cards

Hi,
We are landing next month to activate our Visa's (which expire early Oct)
There are four of us in our party but three of us are returning to the UK until our house is sold. My son will be staying in Canada as he is starting University there in Sept. Can he have his PR Card sent to the University where he will be living even though the rest of the party, including the main applicant (hubby) has returned to the UK.
Would be grateful for some advise on this if possible.
Thanks
Shashy

As long as its a proper address and not a mailing box type address I dont think its a problem... like a Uni residence, not just the general university address, right?

Oh dear im not sure.
He will be sharing a room with someone else at the University.
We wont know anymore than that until he starts on the 1st September, but by then we will have already landed and been through immigrations.
The University need to see his PR Card as soon as he gets it otherwise he will have to pay International Student fees

He can always not give an address when he lands and just use the online form to update it when he knows it... Many people are yet to arrange accomodation when they land, the system allows for that

As long as he has his Certificate of Permanent Residence - commonly known as COPR - which is usually stapled or placed into the passport on landing and needs to be kept for both pension entitlement and citizenship application, he should not need to present his PR card. A PR card is not a requirement to prove permanent residency, the CoPR is the official document of record!
