Default Landing and Healthcare waiting time.

Hi
Does anyone know if you land and come back to finalise affairs, and you are moving to a Province which requires a 3 month wait to be entitled to Healthcare. Does the 3 months begin from when you land, even though you leave again....so in effect doing the waiting period in UK instead of having to arrange alternative cover for those 3 months?
Thanks
Stef

You should be able to land and leave again, providing you get some kind of dated visa when you first land. When I sent off the form I just included my work permit, I could have left and come back and they would not have known.

I didn't have to prove I had been here continuously for 3 months. I guess most people don't bother because the cost of CanadaSure is cheaper than another return flight for most people.

Thanks for your reply
We have only ever had our passports stamped on arrival and never on departure...so how do they know you have left....unless they scan it?
lol
