Default Landing and going to USA, please help

Thanks everybody and now I am expected to get the PR soon.

I am currently a visa student in Canada and I am expected to get my PR soon
and want to land at the border right after I get the PR visa. The problem is
that I will go to USA for a conference several days after the landing
process. I am worrying about re-entering to Canada after the conference.
Normally, I can return from USA with my student visa if I don't have PR. But
after landing, my status is changed but I can't get my maple card
immediately. Is there any problem when I return from USA without a maple
card?

Any suggestions? Thank you very much!

Why not delay your landing, go to the conference, and when you return go
thru the landing process. No doucbt you are studying Philosophy with a major
in logic.

No doubt he is not studying logic but I'm sure he is studying
philosophy...

Sorry, the problem is that I am paying high international tuition now and if
I land at once (before the conference), I will have chance to require my
school to decrease it to domestic tuition.
