hey all,
just wondering can you give a hotel's address when landing your PR visa at the airport if its a PO box address???? im sure ive read on here somewhere that you cant but cant find that particular thread.

im moving to a long term let condo on a ski resort and the address theyve given me is a PO box....
any answers welcomed xx

PO Box would not be an accepted address for your PR card. It must have a street address so ask for that. Otherwise you will have to wait until you get to Whistler and find it for yourself.

maybe saying Ski resort bigged it up a bit

its actually the ski hill in Kimberley.
i have a street address and the number of the condo but they sent me a po box number when i asked about post??

i'll just give the street address i suppose or a friends house, the last thing i want is my PR card going on a magical mystery tour

Either should work.

Hi there and welcome to Canada!

A couple of other options are to use your employer's address or maybe your landlord? Our landlord was very helpful when we arrived and we used his address for most of our government stuff until we got settled.
