Default Landing

Does anyone have any advice for us?
We applied under the PNP and were accepted earlier this year, we had our medicals last November and intend to land this October for one week.
Are there procedures that we need to be aware of that may cause problems ie: enough funds to land with, an address for paperwork to be sent to?
thankyou

1. What province is the PNP from. Does it have terms and conditions on the landing such as residing in the province, opening a business? You better check on that.

2. You will need a list of goods accompanying and goods to follow, with their value and quantity in duplicate for Customs, if you want to import them duty free.

3. I am assuming you are not from the US, so you don't have a car to import. If you are you better check www.riv.ca

4. You have to have in your possession proof of your settlement funds, in a currency transferable to Canada. Check www.cic.gc.ca to see the amount for your family size.

5. You should have an address in Canada where you want your PR Cards sent to . If you don't you have 180 days to inform CIC of an address.
