Landed yesterday.
Hello All,
The whole process was quick and nice. =) Went to Quebec/US border and took
me about 1.5 hours (including the traffic line up there). Brought my bank
statements (Canadian Bank) - and she said she didn't need it. Just need to
know how much cash I have.

Cash? We need to have cash on hand when we land? We can't just show a
bank statement?
If so, how much cash to we need to carry.

In my case, a bank demand draft to my name addressed to a bank in HSBC
branch in Toronto was sufficient. The bank draft was not even in CDN$.

Yeah cash - I was shocked too! Fortunately I had $185 cad =)
I guess this is probably because I have been in Canada for awhile. Then
