Default Knee Op - Affect Medical?

Hi everyone,

Just a quick question. Sophie has just been told she needs a minor operation on her knee to repair the cartilage which she damaged Skiing. The injury isn't a bad one and she can walk around fine as she is now, but she is also due to have her medical soon. Could this affect it?

Thanks in advance,
Nige and Soph'

I dont think it will make any difference as its a one off expense type situation, rather than a chronic drain on the system.

Im going to move this to the immigration area though as there is more likely to be an "expert" response there. If you posted it in the lifestyle area with a particular reason in mind, let me know.

Thanks Iain. Whichever section you thinks best is fine.

Cheers

Hi both,

As iaink suggests, we too can't imagine that a minor op in the UK that doesn't involve ongoing care in Canada (our assumption) is going to cause any problem at all. Hope the medical goes smoothly.
