Hi,

I've just received notice requesting that I attend an interview at the Singapore CHC
next month. I have the following questions:

1. Apart from the verification of document authenticity, what else can one expect at
the interview? I am a software engineer by title and applied as a software
programmer (because it matched the nature of my work, software programming). Will
the CHC need to assess my professional competency? If so how?

2. I received a request to fill up a "Personal Worth Statement" which I am to submit
to the CHC. Not having heard about this before, I'm wondering if anyone else has
had to fill one. Could one of the immigration experts enlighten me as to why the
CHC needs it?

Btw, some background info:

Application category: Independent Applicant: Myself (Single) Sent application:
September 2000 Received AOR: October 2000 Received Interview Notice: 18 June 2001

Well... waiting patiently with fingers crossed....

Best wishes, Mel

I've heard of some basic tech questions being asked. They want to make sure that you
haven't faked anything.
