Interview!!!

Hello everybody,
I have never thought about it before but now as my six month is going to end and I am preparing a fax for CIC with some questions, I looked at my first letter that I got from the, AOR and one thing made me wonder.
The following text: PLEASE READ CAREFULLY ATTACHED INTERVIEW INFORMATION - was strikethrough with black fat pen.Does it mean that no interview for me? or it is like this on every single AOR?
I haven't got the letter that askes for the interview or even the interview waiver, even though my medicals are done and even ROLF is paid. I am Family Class.
Thank you in advance, Marike

Re: Interview!!!

It seems that your interview has been waived. Sometimes you have to read the attached
instructions with the medicals very carefully, even between the lines to get the
hidden message. Jim Humphries

Re: Interview!!!

This is the first I have heard about interview waiver in the AOR. My understanding is
generally. the AOR basically says "we got your app, the fee was correct, it seems to
have all the essential documents for now, we are going to start processing it, and we
will let you know the initial result in so much time). Atleast for most indipendent
cases anyways. You should read the letter more carefully, and if possible post the
body of the letter to the group for our education. My understanding has always been
that the interview requirement is sent with the assessment letter, which in most
cases should be the second letter you get after the AOR and the receipt. Correct me
if I am wrong.

Re: Interview!!!

This is a Family Class case and would not follow the norms for Independents.
