Default Interesting Question !!!

Hello Every one,
A spouse in the US having an H4 Status, her Canadian Husband working
in the USA on H1 Visa, both wishes to visit the Canada. However, the
following scenario makes things a bit complicated:
The spouse's Parents currently have been applicant of a Family Class
Member. Their application is still in process, but technically the
spouse is no longer a dependent child since she got married and her
application for Family Class PR is null and void. The Embassy where
the family PR application is in process have been sent fax to inform
the change in the status of the spouse.
In the visitor visa form for Canada, there are two questions:
1) Have you ever applied for Canada immigration?
2) Is any of your immigration application currently in process?

What should be the answer to these two questions for the visa
application? Please note that the spouse never applied for any
immigration, Her father was the principal applicant and her name was
included as a family class member, which is no longer the case since
she got married.

What are the changes of refusal for Canada visitor visa in such cases?

Thanks for your answers.
Imran
