Default Inq. best places for living and growing children (Toronto)

I am a landed immigrant of Canada presently living outside Canada. I
am along with my family members (pregnant wife, two daughters 8 and 6
years, respectively) planning to return back Toronto permanently with
in two/three months. I am looking for a beautiful, clean, convenient
places/ area (schools, hospitals, super markets, public transport
etc.) for living and growing children.
Any help, suggestions or hint will be appreciated.
Thanking you,

Keep away from Toronto and other urban areas and locations with jails.

The first thing to take into consideration is taxes. Unless someone or
something steals all of alberta's oil and gas revenues alberta will have
the lowest taxes in canada for some time to come. In your case it sounds
like calgary is perfect for you. In my case i am considering provost as i
own many homes in edmonton.

I like the area between Lawrence Avenue and the old city limits along Yonge
Street, but there are many other nice neighbourhoods.

Calgary is certainly a very family-friendly place if you can buy your
home. Rent and you'll be faced with the 'adult-building' problem that
plagues >50% of rented properties in this city.

Also be sure avoid the downtown area and the c-train - crackheads,
prostitues, centralised homeless, etc... not a great place for the kids
to play.

ah such a wonderful city
