Inland PR Application Approved !
So after a painstaking 5 years of waiting for Immigration to approve me for Permanent Residency of an Inland Application , I finally landed Yesterday 
Why so long ? I had a petty criminal offense from England more than 5 years ago so basically I had to wait 5 years to be deemed re-rehabilitated ( no criminal charges brought against you within 5 years of applying for immigration to Canada ) .
So if any Brit out there is thinking of applying to come to Canada please be aware if you have a criminal record this will hold back your time for landing !
Also if you were involved in any Politics tread carefully CIC dig into your past with a fine tooth comb .

Well done, indeed! I'm in a similar boat with a pretty offence complicating things.
Do you mind if I ask if you were over there on a TRP? Did you have any hassle with it, did they grill you pretty hard? How was the process for applying for rehabilitation?

I should have worded my comment In a better manner actually , I was rushing to post !! what I should have said is, if you have a petty " criminal offense " .
I was here under Spousal Sponsorship on a TRP yes, no hassle at all, I was honest from day one ..However because of my Political background CSIS were involved and they gave me they heads up it wasn't that bad !
The process for rehab wasn't that bad either all you do is write a letter explaining why you committed the offense and they will judge you by your time served etc..
