Default Injection Molding In Ontario

This is a bit of a long shot, but I'm currently emigrating under the Skilled worker catagory as a injection molding technician and was wondering if there's anyone else trying in the same trade?

Husky in Bolton ON comes to mind, fantastic company, with great morals, environmental awareness and a general principle of sustainibility throughout their operations.

If you can get into there, it would be great. Checkout their website, if you havnt already. They heve a PDF file of a broshure for download that has all the info for prospective new employees, and I happen to know that they are in rapidly expanding phase.

It is a dream company really

Good luck

Hi Mhhp

Thanks but have already tried them, they were my first port of call but said they have to current vacancies which suit my qualifications.
BUT, i won't give up on them, they are the perfect company for me to work for and I didn't realise they were expanding so thanks for that info.

Be patient and stay on them, check their website regularly, and see if you can get to know some people (networking, networking and networking) I know they have worldwide expansion plans. It is just a question of time......

Where did you dig out this old thread. (dont worry has happened to me before as well) This was a discussion my old friend weener and I had back in march.

Unfortunately weeners PR application got refused in in April. :scared: :scared: :scared: and we have had only the occasional sign of life from him since then

weener, if you are still out there let us know how you are doing

Hey Mhhp

I am still alive, but for obvious reasons I don't some on this site anymore, in fact this is the first time for months.
I still have my so called "immigration specialist" chasing my refusal case for me. But i gave up hope ages ago. I'm just letting him earn his money. I've even put our house on the market this week to move (unfortunately not to Canada).
I'm not one of these peolple who try to flog a dead horse, It was worth a try but life goes on.
I can't believe someone replied to this old thread.
Kinda rubs salt in the wound but i'm not complaining.....Thanks for trying to help!!!!!!!
Hows your application going????????

Hi Mark

No I got refused back in April. I only scored 59 points as they failed to regonise one of my qualifications. They base your qualifications on how many hours you studied and my main qual was done on a 3 year in house training prog which I haven't got anything in writing.
My Immigration guy trying still but I won't keep my fingures crossed.

Shame, dont want to rub salt in the wounds but I loved that area and if the winters were milder we would go back, Oz for us.

Take care.

Good to hear you are doing well, you never know what the future may bring. I actually just got our medicals done and we will be flying to toronto for a 2 week job search/friends visit trip oct. 8th. We should have, if all goes well, our visa by then and be able to land. Final moving plans are for end of march.

Good to hear from you and hang in there buddy, good things will happen
