If your friend has a Bsc and then another Bachelor degree in accounting then yes he can claim the years of study for both of the degrees.

If your friend has a Bsc and then a "professional accounting qualification from UK" then he only has 1 degree. Professional qualifications (ieACA CIMA etc) are not completed at Uni as they are done under contract with the Institue (IE ICEAW or CIMA etc).

Now do you understand my point
Thanks for your info. But before I second that just one thing. Is this what legal representatives or Canadian immi agency say? Or you checked this to the point prior to applying?

Thanks burton bunch. You are correct. My friend had been advised by lawyer that he can score 22 points using CIMA. As he fulfills "Obtained a three-year diploma, trade certificate or apprenticeship (other than university) and completed at least 15 years of full-time or full-time equivalent studies"

Will that stand?

If your friend is using a lawyer then I would get the lawyer to double check the application if it is causing this much confusion
