Info on Filling IMM0008 (IMM0008egen)
Hello Everyone,
I am a single never married individual currently working in georgia, Usa on H1 B Visa. I have my parent here on visitors visa, my brother is a PR of canada. I have the following questions . 1. You must provide the following details about each of your family members, whether they will be accompanying you to Canada or not. - Now my question is i am applying in skilled worker category and not applying for any dependents. Am i supposed to mention information of my parents and brother on page 2 (also i have a sister in UK - British Citizen) of the form where they ask the above question. they explicitly mention all family members whether accompanying or not... where as they dont say DEPENDENT FAMILY MEMBERS. The exact statement on the form is " You must provide the following details about each of your family members, whether they will be accompanying you to Canada or not. You must include your spouse or common-law partner, if applicable, and all of your dependent children, and those of your spouse or common-law partner, who are not already permanent residents or citizens of Canada. If you have more than three family members, photocopy this page before you start completing it or print it from our Web site at www.cic.gc.ca. Make sure you have enough copies to fill in details about all your family members." DO I MENTION THE INFO OF MY BROTHER SISTER AND PARENTS EVEN IF THEY ARE NOT MY DEPENDENTS... OR I JUST MENTION THEM IN THE IMM5406 (IMM5406E) FORM... PLEASE SUGGEST --- 2. On the same form it asks me for my brother info -- am i supposed to mention his identity card number over there or do i mention his SIN number. 3. Where it asks me for my identity card number i put in "USA - SSN - 000-00-0000 (of course with the correct ssn ;) Thanks a lot, regards, amitamar. |

Your parents, brother and sister are not your dependents. They are entered
on the IMM5406 only, not the IMM0008. -- Jim Humphries, former visa officer "Desi Bubba" wrote in message news:[email protected]... > Hello Everyone, > I am a single never married individual currently working in georgia, > Usa on H1 B Visa.
