Importing VW Jetta to Canada

Hello dear All,
I'm moving to Toronto in 3 weeks, and I want to take my 1994 VW Jetta III GLS. It turns
out that it needs an addition of "tether anchorage" thing for the child seat. Is there
anyone here who has done this kind of modification for Jetta or any other car? What would
be the approximate cost? The US dealer does not have a clue on what it is - maybe it is
even impossible to do? I really need to know because if my car cannot be modified I want
to sell it while still in US.
