Default immigration help

i was landed in canada on the 30th september as a visitor , got a 6 months stamp & am still here i plan on leaving before my 6 month stamp expires on the 30th of march ... My question is i had a return flight for just a months holiday but decided to stay on , if i ever come back will i get questioned alot more about me staying here ? . and will it affect me in the future if i want to travel here again ? anyhelp would be great cheers paul.

No you will be ok provided you leave within the 6 month period.
The vast majority of travellers are given 6 month stamps but leave before.
All stays of over 6 months are documented whereas stays of less than 6 months are only documented when we have a concern with the traveller.

ok sir thankyou very much for you help its just my girlfriend is canadian so i want tospend as much time as possible with her i take it you are an immigration officer or something ?

Yes and I have friends who would be delighted to knock on your girlfriends door if you overstay

haha i bet you do i promise not do break the conditions and will leave before my permitted stay ive applied for the iec working holiday visa , you think i will get the visa granted even though i have 2 months left on my current visit visa ? sorry to peck your brains

FL is an immigration officer i.e. he's one of those scary people who can refuse you entry when you arrive in Canada at the airport/border, he doesn't have anything to do with the actual visa application or processing. (Don't worry, I wasn't sure what an immigration officer was to start with either!).

You are not on a visa as UK citizens are TRV exempt from visiting Canada.
This will not affect any IEC application.
