immigrating to canada

Hi! and good day to all of you. To cut my story short, im in the US awaiting for my H1 visa appeal.

Here are my questions:

1. Is it possible for me to file in the US for Canadian immigrant status?

thank you

ive been here for more than a year now. im still waiting for my appeal of my working visa to come out but i think its gonna take more than 2 years. So i was thinking, it would be better for me to apply in Canada instead.

THank you for your reply...
