ready to sent to me, I tanks him alot , give him my mailing adrese
several time , he write to me that there is prblem in sending , what
is that problem , he do not explain, Ok , I arrange a pre-paid order
with TNT ( carier) , TNT people go to his house he was sleeping , they
said to me that he not give coperation, I suggest to him go to TNT

his house ( a community volunter) , no responce at all . Now , I am
outside Canada according to new rules I want to back Canada in 9/2004

1- what can I do when I am outside Canada, and when I just arived?
2- Can my SIN used for illegal things ,especially there is no photos

You need to contact the SIN people and tell them that your card has been
stolen.

and yes it can be used for ill purposes. It took you year and a half to realize that this guy is not willing to send you the sin card!!! You might get a big surprise finding out that you owe the government an enormous amount of $$$ in taxes. Have you heard of identity theft, this might as well be identity gift.
You should report your card stolen ASAP.

And why you applied for SIN card in the first place after landing if you
knew that you are leaving Canada shortly and will not be residing here
yet?!!! You should apply for SIN once you move for good here.

It just blows my mind...

First thing you should do if you ever get back to Canada is to enroll in
some ESL class. It's free, paid by the Canadian taxpayers.

I feel really sorry for you ! Don't trust people you meet on the bus.

Just for the record I think your English is good, not fluent, but good, I think you'll do well here ! Just remember not to trust people you meet on the bus, especially with something as important as your SIN card.

I would report this to the police or whoever issued the SIN card, this 'friend' will be in serious trouble...'what goes around comes around'

Please clarify what is "ESL class", this info might be important to me as well.

English as a Second Language.
In Ontario, or Toronto where I live, it's free to attend any of the ESL
class, I have never done this so I cannot provide you with requirements for
enrollment.
And for the original poster, if he would have spoken a better English I am
pretty sure that the mentioned sad incident could have been easily avoided.
People use to take advantage when they see that you do not speak English
correctly. Not to say employers, if you really want a GOOD job (opposite of
flipping burgers where you really don't need much English) you gotta speak
English (or French in Quebec) correctly.
