Please can someone clear up this point??
My Canadian wife is sponsoring me (and only me) into Canada. I have a 21 year old son who is classed as a dependent child therefore he must fill in his own copy of the Additional Family Information form. Where does he put his name? The only logical place on the form has "Applicant" against it and I am the Applicant, not him.

ur dependant child should fill in his/her own form, with his/her name in the "Applicant" space provided!

I have had the same issue when completing my forms. Husband is applicant and as such on his form put his name against applicant, mine against spouse and then obviously mother father, sisters etc etc. When I filled mine in I had a tough time deciding how to complete because I am clearly not the applicant but in the end I put my name against applicant, hubby against spouse and then my mum, dad extended family etc. I do hope I have done the right thing. I don't find the guide very helpful, anyone else echo those feelings, the guide leaves a lot to interpretation and open to getting a lot of things wrong. Maybe thats just me eh!
