IELTS
So the IELTS is booked and we have started revising for it. Making lots of mistakes so far, but hoping the more we do will help to get better results.
Having looked into the scores, am I correct in thinking that the principal applicant can score anywhere between 7.5-9 in speaking, 8.5-9 in listening, 8-9 in reading and 7.5-9 in writing to gain maximum marks?
I'd assumed from what I had read before that I needed top marks to get maximum points?
If so, it takes the pressure off massively

Also, do only use the official CRS calculator, rather than any third party one - they have known to be out of date in the past! https://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigr...d/crs-tool.asp

Re: IELTS
Thanks.
Luckily it came back as the same figure with that calculator.
I think the confusion for me is the conversion from IELTS bands to CLB.
But I think the ranges above are doable for me so I'm happy
