I took IELTS a month ago. I have some IELTS related resources. I dont want to flood this page so better send email to [email protected] . I will forward them to you via email. Also, i found this forum to be very useful. Learnt a lot of tips and access to valuable resources.

if you are in US then perhaps you can get some discounted stuff
/second hand from ebay/half/amazon etc

even in india you can get discounted /second hand books / preparation
guide etc about ielts just the same way one gets for toefl

IELTS is more difficult than TOFEL. Its not about being easy of dificult its about learning the technique. No need to spend any money , u can find enough resources on web to learn all basic stuff about IELTS. Thats why i asked you email me,. Let me put all of the links here, Enjoy. If your English is OK, u can easily score 7 by learning some tips/techniques.

You must have been working really hard, so now is the
time to take it easy. I would suggest the following
things, for I did the same before my test.

could one of the computer whiz-kids please tell a batty old lady with
a win95 system (no sound) how to get a hold of the .tif files from
ielts.snt.ru ? I tried downloading the realplayer, but it seems it
either doesn't like win 95 or the fact there's no sound. I just need
to download the files for my students, I don't have to play them on
my system. Any clues?

Trouble with your spelling? Try the "Spell-check" game at
www.funbrain.com it's a bit cumbersome to get to, but sure to improve
your spelling. Go to the homepage and then click on "words"
underlined in blue (underneath age selections) then select spell
check in the select game window. Choose advanced setting for IELTS
training. (You might find a few of their other games like Grammar
Gorilas fun while you're there.) I hope they'll keep it in the free
section and don't change it to "click to order".
