Default IELT

I am from South Africa and have been living in the UK for 13 years now. My husband is the main applicant. Do I have to take the IELT test?

I don't believe that spouses of main applicants have to take the IELTS, but hopefully an expert will confirm.

Welcome to the forum and good luck.

That is a great relief. I am confident with my english as I have been speaking it as my first language at work and home for the past 13 years but it is just the grammar and tenses that always get to me. And when put in a test sitaution who always doubt your own ability.
