Former Lancastrian, when I will apply for the new ETA, and I put in yes to the question, there is a space to provide details (but honestly i don't believe that would help me out), this will completely contradict my application and my ETA will probably get refused right? What happens with the original application in this matter? Will it get automatically rejected because my ETA is rejected now?

This is what i get for watching Border Security at least i would have half a year of being calm, now i will probably lose all my hair trying to resolve my situation.

Thank you

I have no idea what will happen as you will be dealing with CIC (IRCC) not CBSA when you submit the eTA application. You only deal with CBSA when entering Canada and all applications eTA, IEC etc etc are dealt with by CIC which is a different department.
No matter how many times you ask nobody can tell you what will happen if you decide to travel to Canada.

No questions about criminal offences on the landing card.

No its not. The question asks if you have any firearms or weapons nothing about convictions or offences.
