No, you can't open a kompass account until the IEC program opens - and you can't use a previous kompass account if you registered last year.
You could start on your resume - there is a link on the page below to show how it should be done; you could also apply for your ACPO police check. http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca...ed-requis.aspx :) |

Come on Siouxie expecting people to read instructions or looking at official websites for information is sort of on par with Ti-cats fans last week expecting to win the Grey Cup last week and especially with it being in Regina and against the Rider Nation. It DIDNT happen

I have to say with the resume template it's odd how they put training under your education history. Most of the time training is done through your job but I've done mine by chronological order (so my recent NVQ then my degree then my a levels and gcses) is that ok for what they will want?
Also is it a full employment history or 5 years. They don't say anything about references with this new template either (not a problem though I can provide them on resume)...? |

Oooh, France's program seems so much larger than the UK one; A total of 14,000 places! Let's keep our fingers crossed for news from the UK one soon!
The Working Holiday category will open in 3 rounds for a total quota of 6,750 places. ;) |

Re: IEC 2014 Queries
500?! That is just teasing. I'm lucky I get the check the website pretty much any time, all day where I work. To say I'm looking forward to seeing if I can get through is an understatement.

Haha, yes I understand. But they're all similar programs as far as I have read. Still a fair few more than the UK though. It's interesting looking through the quotas and rules that the other countries have for their individual IECs. Some countries don't even get 500 places!
Remember it is reciprocal in that Canadians get same number of spaces in that countries IEC program. |

Remember it is reciprocal in that Canadians get same number of spaces in that countries IEC program. I want the UK to agree with Canada to increase the age to 35, it gives me more time then :)! If Ireland and Australia have it then I don't see why UK won't do it! However if people don't get in you should try New Zealand WHV, there is no quota and you can get 2 years with a medical and they have a similar standard of living to Canada :) |
