Also they have made it 100X Easier to apply, There is only 4 pages of paper work to fill in and you dont even need to get the Proof of funds signed!!!!

Its so easy this time around it doesnt even seem real!

So this is what I am going to send.

5 pages IEC app
2 photocopy of passport info page
5 pages of app for work permit
2 pages family info
2 page CV
1 Page of employment history in Word
1 ACPO police cert

Does that sound like everything, there isn't really a checklist like last year. and some of the forms have hidden pages

That chip on your shoulder is just getting a bit annoying now........

Do you think you could avoid bringing it in to every thread you post on, particularly when you're responding to those that have no idea of the reasons for your comments and your past arguments with others on the forum?

Thx.

Hey guys, I'm also on the BUNAC/IEC facebook page (Vicky M).

I honestly can't get over how much simpler these forms are this year! All seems too good to be true! I'm still waiting on my mum to get my police check sorted as I'm out in Canada but I think I've filled in all the forms so just need to print them, get new passport photos and the photocopy of my passport done.

Then forward it all to mother dearest to mail it onwards to London. I sent the police check forms by land though as it was too expensive by air (I was mailing xmas presents home as well!) so I have no idea when they'll actually arrive. God bless Canada Post!

Oh it does seem easier this time yes! Last year there was a fair bit more to do.

I have just arrived on my IEC a few days ago and I'm wondering can I apply for a second year if I do it soon? I am 30 and turn 31 in March 2012 so I'm not sure if my age works for this(?)

I don't have contact with most of my family at all but I still put them down in my application last year and had no problems.

Am I right in thinking that proof of funds is no longer required as part of the inital application? If so my application from within Canada just became a whole lot easier

Ignore me lol Ive just found the answer in the FAQ's, no proof of funds required until POE
