Oh my God, I would be in the straight jacket if I had to stay at my mother in laws. We've not even told her we are moving from Texas to Canada yet, and we don't plan to until after we have moved, makes life much simpler!!
Good luck!
Great, I hope it is as speedy for you!

2) Date when application was POSTED:11/04/07
3) Date when they recieved the application:?
4) Any correspondence or calls received by your employer in between, if yes then the nature of the enquiry and after how many days/weeks did you get an enquiry from them? 14/05/07 They wanted to know if I was qualified to do the job (registered with the licensing body) - Why are they asking that question? It's a LMO application not a WP application!

Re: HRSDC LMO Timeline
Hi everyone,
WE are in week 9 yesterday waiting for an LMO to come back. We are hoping to get to Saskatoon -
Has anyone else had an LMO for Saskatchewan, I am finding it hard to see how long they are taking, we thought being a not so popular state it may have been a little quicker.
It woud be great if anyone has any idea and let me know before we drive ourselves mad.

Pharmacist
I have passed five exams totalling 18 hours!!
I cannot register with the professional body until i am in canada
Service Canada will not give me LMO until i am registered - Catch 22 !!!
It will take another month and probably one more exam before they will grant me the LMO.
Help?!?!

Re: HRSDC LMO Timeline
My OH and I are going to Regina on Thursday next week and he has a job interview LMO/WP next. Cant help you on the timeline but we had also been wondering how long his would take. You have given us a bit of insight. We are afraid we are going to end up moving in JAN/FEB in the middle of winter. What position have you applied for?
WE emigrated to the states in 2003 and came back..........don't ask but biggest mistake made.
I am going to try and ring the office in Regina to see if they will give me a general timeline, I will let you know. We had a job and immigration offer to Regina back in 1997 but for personal reasons we had to turn it down. Have you been there before, It was a nice place when we went. We stayed in the Best Western it had a brill fun slide in the pool and we had it all to ourselves. We too like you were hoping to get there for the summer, didn't really want the shock of the winter straight away. Let me know how you get on,we could become neighors.

It is hubby who is a diesel fleet mechanic. The good thing is his job description falls in the list of where I can apply for a spousal work permit, so will be doing that if we ever get the LMO back.
