Re: HRSDC LMO Timeline
Hi there I am new to the forum but thought I would post my application info.
1) Provincial office where applied: BC
2) Date when application was POSTED:4th May Friday
3) Date when they received the application: 7th May Monday
4) Any correspondence or calls received by your employer in between, if yes then the nature of the enquiry and after how many days/weeks did you get an enquiry from them? None that I am aware of
5) Date when decision made or received? Still waiting
6) Employee is inside or outside Canada when the Application was submitted? Outside
My employer has many applications in for many staff, and as such they contact the government regularly. In a phone call last night they said they still had no idea when my LMO would be likely to arrive. Its really frustrating as they told me when I accepted the job it would take 10 -12 weeks. Today is 18 weeks. Hopefully we will get the LMO soon, or else I may just take one of many job offers trying to get me to stay in the UK

Re: HRSDC LMO Timeline
Have now lost it- woken up to an update email from employer which perked me up until I read it. Apparently as of 6th September they are now processing 11th April. Ours didn't get to them until 26th April, which is one day earlier than I though which must be due to word chaging date on documents they sent us). Not good news- in fact terrible news as we just told our tenants they can move in 27th October. So it looks like wait could be 22 weeks which well hacks me off as a few weeks ago service canada said 19 weeks at the outside.

Really does make you want to pull your hair out.
All I can say is hang in there, they are processing at least, even if it is at a snail's pace!
Maybe it is time to send in Agent White!

Re: HRSDC LMO Timeline
It is so frustrating, we have been living with family since May as we were told that the LMO was coming in July ( yes we assumed it would be positive ) . I don't know how much longer we can keep living with family, the novelty has long since worn off Unfortunately my employer has told me that the have had an application since mid April for someone else and that LMO hasn't turned up yet, which isn't great news for me as I am May 7th! I guess we can just wait and see what happens. It would be nice to be there by Christmas !

Re: HRSDC LMO Timeline
Hi guys
Well, this Alberta news is a bit depressing isn't it?
We thought we'd be going to Calgary round the end of June (LMO application sent 20th April) so I gave up my job at the end of April as we were getting married, going on honeymoon and I thought it would be a good time to have a month of freedom to pack, organise things etc.. how naive were we?
So I have been unemployed, unable to get another full time job and messing around in crappy temp jobs since July.
Luckily Andy is self employed and has managed to keep the work coming in.
I got so excited last week when the Canadian govt asked Andy's employer for a copy of his employment contract but we have had no word since.
Why they can't be more open with processing times I don't know. It would make life easier for a lot of people.
What I do know, or should I say hope, is that it will be worth it when we finally get to Canada...

Here, here!
I'm in the same boat, although I haven't quit work just yet. We did give up our flat and moved in with my in-laws after my lmo was in for about a week - we figured this would help tie up all loose ends in the 8-12 week waiting period.
7-11 weeks in one bedroom with a wife & two kids seemed do-able.....we are now on week 17 (week 18 for our lmo):curse:
Hopefully all this hassle will make it that little bit better when we finally arrive.
