Hi ya,

I am a Canadian living in UK and am sponsoring my husband to Canada. I read somewhere it's $21,000 USD min. to sponsor my husband but read elsewhere else if it's spouse sponsorship, you don't need to meet a set money amount. We do have some money saved but I am just afraid it won't be enough in the eyes of Canada. What is enough?

My husband is currently sponsoring me. It is my understanding that you do not have to meet any minimum income requirements for spousal sponsorship.

I am being sponsered by my wife and we definitely read in the paperwork that there is no minimum income requirement for spousal sponsership

thats correct,there is no need for proof of funds in a spousal sponsorship.
you have an undertaking to provide for 3 years when you sign the sponsorship agreement.
