how long from pr to landing

Default how long from pr to landing

if/when i get pr (under skilled occ),do i get from receiving visa to landing in canada?also does the time spent absent between the two,count as being out of the country in the 2/5 years?

You are not a PR until you land as such in Canada. You must land prior to expiration of your PR visa and 2/5 residency obligation clock starts ticking the day you land as a PR.

thanks andrew.What would be the usual time span allowed from being sent the visa to arriving in canada?

The visa will normally be valid for one year from the date of the medical examination or until the passport expires whichever is earlier.
