been searching the site but cannot find anything, ( probally not looking in right place )
How much time do you get from having your PR granted untill you must land in Canada, Ive heard 2 - 3 years but want to make sure

your visa is valid for one year from the date of your meds. You must land to activate your pr within this time frame. However as long as you maintain the residency requirements of 2 years out of five , there is nothing to stop you "landing" to activate your pr and then returning whenever you like

Thanks Zoe meds on 31st Jan should be bo probs, gives me a year to totally convince wife of better life in Ontario

It is one year from meds. or to the date of expiry of your passport ....if it has less than 1 year to run...

Got my meds on the 31st as well, no beer, from now until Thursday only water

OK guys nearly there , sell the house and leave this broken island for good!
