Default How long can a visitor stay in Canada if there is no stamp on the passport

My parents entered Canada with a Visitor Visa. At port of entry, the
officer examed their documents, but did not put stamp on the passport,
nor did they hand write anything on the passport. It appeared that
there is nothing on their passport to show when did they entered
Canada. This raised a question. How long can they stay in Canada in
this situation? Do they have to return to the airport and have the
officer to put stamp on the passport?

Thank you in advance for any advice!

If you want a Visitor Record for them you can aply to Vegreville for
one. There is no fee. Just explain the situation. Send a copy of their
boarding pass and tickets as well as passport etc. Vegreville wil
issue a Record for free.
