Default How long after RCMP certificate received by Buffalo ??

Hello group,

I am a student from McGill University (Indian Citizen).
Time line is as follows
Applied in Feb, 2002
Got file number, July 2002
Medicals, Finger printing with Landing Fee request, Oct, 2003
Did medicals, finger printing and sent landing fee, Nov, 2003
E-Client changed to `Decision Made`in Feb, 2004.
Did not receive any thing after that from Buffalo.

Enquired about finger printing to RCMP and got reply that Buffalo had
received the police clearence certificate on March, 16 and also that
everything on the file seemed ok (internal source - not a Buffalo
official).

Does any one have any idea how much more time will it take ???

Thanks for your time and consideration in advance.

If past experience is any guide you will have several more months wait while
your background check is completed. There are any number of decisions made
but you are close to the end.

Hi,

My RCMP took about 5 months in 2003. I submitted the finger prints
in July 2003, got back in December 2003. My case has very similar timeline
to yours. I am also a student in Ontario. I applied in Jan 2002, landed in
Feb 2004. You case should be finished in any day now, unless your security
check takes so long.
