Hello:

I have emigrated to Canada long time ago and have seen the changes about the rules: Canada needs Doctors very badly, even given cash advances to help them to settle down. Then, the Plumbers, Electricians, Surveyors are in demand.

Since you have a British Passport and the English is your first language you will have a good chance, that is as long as you can arrange a home and work here, or a profession in a technical field. We have a lot of Germans coming to Eastern Canada in recent years, they like the wide-open sky, wild-life, winter-sports, and low-cost housing, and most all the time they come and buy a home here and then apply for permanent visa.

No one is going to tell you what to do, and certainly simply are unable to without you giving any information at all. There are over 50 routes to immigration. JonboyE has given you a link to the wiki. Do your own research and feel free to post back when you have specific questions.

My apologies for the late response guys I have been doing alot of traveling for my job, I am a Telecommunications Tower Technician. Matrix B

Here are the options I currently have.
1. My wife has been accepted to Niagara College for studying in Pre-Health Sciences.
2.I have received numerous positive leads for jobs in my field throughout Canada, 1 of them have began to process my LMO
3.My wife's family is Jamaican and they are now located in Edmonton, but it is not immediate family members.
4. I have previously studied at Niagara college for a year in the Electronics Engineering program, but was unable to continue due to lack of funds.


*I have familiarized myself with The PNP,FSW, and others.

I have no idea if your past in the US will prevent you from entry into Canada...perhaps someone on here can advise you.

I am not at all worried about entry into Canada, as I have entered and left numerous times. My question is involving entrt into the US, not Canada.

It has remained there, but it's also very pertinent to your Canadian visa questions. Have you checked to see if you are inadmissible to Canada? Canada's generally much tougher on criminal convictions than the US is.

In your position I would be. Just because you got in to Canada, if you did this without telling CBSA of your past, you may still be inadmissible. If you have outstanding warrants in the US, particularly for armed robbery you may be inadmissible to Canada. The only way to find out is to tell CBSA of your history and see if they let you in. If you are not honest and get found out, at anytime in the future, you could be told to leave Canada.

Canada and the US share more information on people traveling between the two than ever before. I would say PR is a pipe dream in these circumstances.

As for entry into the US, the same is likely to apply. If you go the the US and there is an outstanding warrant, they are not too forgiving over these matters. A DUI makes a person inadmissible to the US, let alone armed robbery.
