Default How can I validate my one year college diploma?

Hey all, I just did my ECA with WES for my UK degree, and everything came back fine. But I've realised that I did a full 1 year diploma in addition to this, that should count as well. It's a private college called SAE, but their website says their awards are internationally recognised, which means I should be able to get an ECA for it.

I've looked in WES, but I can only seem to find validation for three year degrees, and nothing else comes up regarding diplomas. I've looked at some of the other websites, but can't seem to find any that validate college diplomas?

What was the actual award i.e. NVQ etc? Most diplomas aren't recognised, but it will depend on if it's an academic qualification rather than a vocational one.

The course was in 3D Animation, the award isn't a NVQ or anything like that, but its validated by SAE. I guess because it's not a government provided award, it's no good.

I really don't think it would count I'm afraid. If you want to give it a try, then go for it, but personally I think it would be a waste of money. Any professional or vocational qualifications aren't worth anything and won't be assessed normally, only 'proper' academic qualifications seem to count, particularly if the qualification isn't from a recognised body.

HTH.
