Unhappy Help! Starting to panic...

Hey, it's a me again...

I have just got off the phone with CIC, asking about my situation in regards to applying for PR through CEC for Ontario, even though I will be residing in Quebec up until the point that I move.

They said that I would have to prove that I am planning on living outside the province by giving them a letter from my employer stating my intentions to move, and that the employer should not be based out of Quebec.

Fortunately, we don't even have any offices in Canada at all (my pay stub says Austin, TX), and I'm just one of a few remote workers in the whole of Canada for my company. Do you think that's going to be a problem, if there's no Canadian entity at all???

Actually (once again probably answering my own question), I just had another look at the guidelines, it says that under CEC I don't even have to be employed at the time of applying (even though I will be), so I suppose they don't care about the employer?
