help! (spousal sponsorship question)
Hi,
I'm currently awaiting approval or sponsorship for my wife's PR.
I've just received a letter from CIC Mississauga, asking for (further)
proof of my intent to reside permanently in Canada upon approval of my
wife's PR.
Presumably they are concerned because my employment is outside of
Canada (ship work) although I do pay Can. taxes on it.
I'm wondering what will be sufficient proof at this point.
I have already shown
a) my citizenship (Canadian since birth, and I don't work in any other
country per se),
b) a purchase agreement for condo unit currently being built (expected
residence by Feb.'2003).
Thanks for any suggestions.

Re: help! (spousal sponsorship question)
I am sure your purchase agreement for the condo would be sufficient. You could also get a letter from your emplyer stating you pay Canadian taxes and (presumably) it is a Canadian company.
