Dear All,

I am planning to land for a very short time (one or two days) in Toronto and will provide a friend's address to send the PR card to, and then not returing for few months. Is that ok? I was told that there is no minimum period required for landing.

However, I am thinking of trying to get the SIN and MSP card and a bank account. Would one day be enough for all these? and if not can all these be done after say 9 months.

You can land, then turn around and get a flight out if you want to, there is no minimum. Getting the other cards, bank accounts, etc. are down to how busy the places are when you go (just like in any other country when you try to go to a bank, or government office).
