Default Help me! Urgent!

I'm working with H1-B status in USA, and going to attend a meeting in Toronto for a week. Do I need show a new visa (the old F1 expired 3 years ago), or I may just show my valid I-797 and I-94 form when I re-enter the USA? There is very different information on this issue due to the changing policy of American government, but I can't afford the risk to be denied the visa when I come back. I'll leave for Canada very soon, please help me if you happened to know the situation in recent a few months.

Please leave this message for 1 day. Thanks a lot!

yep right, If you have a valid I 94 and a valid H1 that should be enough.

You need to get new visa stamped on your passport before you can
re-enter in USA. Valid I-797 and I-94 only allows you to stay in USA
with an expired visa but you can't re-enter on basis of these
documents.

I was in same situation in March, so i re-entered USA about a week
before the expiration date of my Passport Visa (my I-797 is valid till
Apr-2004). Washington is taking around 3 months to send Passport back
after stamping visa.

You can always stamp your visa in Canada but dont take that risk.

U can come back with valid I-94 and I-797 if u stay there less than 30
days and don't apply for visa while in Canada under "automatic visa
revalidation" program.
