Hi gathering all our docs for landing with offer and LMO and noticed we need to bring 2 photos is that correct? Do they have to be the super duper expensive ones used for immigration application or will kiosk ones do? I will also be asking for a spouse open permit do I also need photos? i have asked before but want to double check, can my 16 year old work whilst we have a twp? she really wants a part time job. I think FL (helpful as always) had previously said we do not need to complete the twp application if asking for it at border, should we just complete to be on safe side? Thanks so much.

Iirc, normal passport type photos are ok (although I just used those for a PR app as well, simple Snappy Snaps, so certainly not super duper expensive!).

Your 16 yr old can't work until she gets PR, as per your previous thread.

Yes, I believe your 16 year old can apply for a owp when you get yours at the border under a pilot program for Ontario.

If it is for a TW Permit, we weren't required to have any back in October.

so if its been extended for daughter can we get that at airport also? re photos yeah the form says u need photos for the permit.

I brought photos for me and my OH for my TWP and her SOWP. We never got asked for the photos. So it's best to be cautious and have them but our wp's were obtained at POE in October

In my experience those applying for a TWP at a POE don't fill out the forms or supply photos though Ive seen many who do. It doesn't hurt to have them but Ive never seen another BSO demand that they be done as they wouldn't issue a work permit if all the documentation wasn't presented or the person wasn't eligible to apply at a POE.
