Help filling in BOWP application form IMM5710
Good Morning Folks;
I am currently filling in an application to obtain a bridging open work permit as I am the middle of my P.R process and my current TFWP will expire in just less than 4 months.
Can you guys give me some help as I navigate my way through the form. I live in fear of making a mistake on this form.
1. In box 3 at the beginning I have selected initial work permit or a work permit with a new employer as this is the closest option to what I want. is this correct?
2. In box 7 I have put down T.F.W.P for my status.
3. In the coming into Canada box I entered Canada most recently via the U.S border when coming back from a family trip. I take it this is the right thing to do?
4. In the details of my intended work in Canada I have put in B.O.W.P as to the type of permit I am applying for.
5. my main question lies in the next section about prospective employer. When applying for this open work permit do I need another job lined up? I am working in my current position and am currently looking for my next career move. I was hoping just to receive my Open Work Permit and then go looking in earnest. So what do I fill in in this section please?
