My skilled immigration case was submitted in April 2000 in
Germany when I was a student. After 8 months I got the
interview letter but at that time I was unable to attent
the interview and cancel it. Later on in
July 2001 the case was transferred to Beijing which proved to
be a catastrophy and until now
I have heard nothing from the Beijing office. Now I am back
to Germany again and study there. Is it possible to transfer
the case back to Berlin for processing? I have tried to do
so when I was in China but was rejected by the Beijing office.
Many thanks in advance.

There is no transfer of files readily available under current law - this is
why Beijing refused your request. You are stuck with Beijing, unless you
withdraw your application and re-apply in Berlin under current law.
