My (police) check took about 5 days from the day I mailed it to the day it arrived on my doorstep. They do say that it can take as long as yours.

IT is best to follow instructions exactly so ask for a new transcript in a university sealed envelope. Otherwise you are asking the visa office to "understand", and they may not.

Hi, when we sent our police checks off we were told by law they have to reply within 40 days but ours took longer, in the end got my husband to ring up a few times, they do come eventually.
