I recieved my PR Visa along with my spouse as well as child. *I am planning to leave for canada in the month of October. I have learnt from u that i need to carry 15385 canadian dollars for all three of us.

In what form shud i carry that amount ( in hard cash or traveelers cheque or DD or some amount as cash and some as travellers cheque.)

Once again i wud take this oppurtunity to thank all of u for asisting me in securing this VISA.

Congrats!!!

Cash and traveler cheques are the best - bank drafts etc. need at least 30 days to be cleared and you don't want to have no money at your disposal for that long.

TCs must be traveller's checks. You might also consider getting a banker's draft payable to you.

Just kiddin drreddy,

anything that is 128 bit on the computer it is considered to be secure less possibility of hacking it. Similarly, dd and TC are kind of 128 bit secure format.

Just being nosey, drreddy, are you doing the eligibilty exam? have you got a place to convert your degree? or are you having a career change?

Mr B did EE last year and got into U of M - cheaper fees and they give full DMD not just conversion certificate. Very difficult, he said many, many others were on their 4th attempts and still no place despite high EE scores

And congrats on PR by the way!
