Default Hello all - new user to this part of the site

i've been busy looking around this site for the last couple of months with specific reference to how to obtain a PR visa for australia and its only been in the last couple of days that i have started to consider canada as a possibility.

i wont start off with a general question such as "how do i get a skilled independant visa" as i know what sort of response i will get.

i've done a quick online assessment of points and come up with 72 for education, language proficiency, age and work epxerience. i guess a job offer would help but i havent even investigated that yet.

so having introduced my self what i will ask for is where can i find the main canadian immigration website.

i look forward to following your visa applications and hopefully you may be able to help mine in the future.

as i said in my post i've been using the australian part of the message boards since november but have only recently started considering canada as a possibility. hence saying hello to those people who predominantly post on this part of the boards.

welcome and I aplogise for misunderstanding on my part.

Web site cic.gc.ca has lot of stuff , which you can browse first.
Next you may like to go through past mails on this forum, a lot of doubts expressed by people like me have been clarified by many experts on this site.

Jim humphries and Andrew Miller are very precise and to the point in such clarifications.

ofcourse you may find occasional off topics also.

Hope to see your participation on this forum soon .
