Been lurking for a year on some threads, building some good knowledge along the way.
My hubbie is hgv class 1 with 6+ years exp. Have family in Canada (all our aunts both sides) want to relocate but unsure if his quail cations will allow us access unless through Saskatchewan. Any other states allowing foreign drivers in? Or just this area.
Next q where do we even begin? So much added info lately, any help, direction is very much greatly appreciated. We plan also on doing this in a year so no major rush

Manitoba, Saskatchewan, BC, Alberta all have semi skilled streams for Long Haul truck drivers. You would have to find an employer in one of those provinces with approved LMOs who offer you a job after you get your class one in the province. Once you are working in the province, the employer would have to support your application for PNP.

be carefully thought, where the family lives. If you apply to a province where the family is, it should heighten your chances. If you apply in one where they are not, it will toughen your chances to get PNP (at least that is what is transpiring for Manitoba, maybe I shouldn't speak for other Provinces)
