Default GOT IT. Inland application

I received a letter from immigration today, stating I have an
appointment on Dec 19th in regard of my PR.

I applied as a common law partner from within.

My timeline:

Application send July 17th 2002
Application received July 19th 2002
AIP letter send on Nov 22nd 2002
AIP letter received Nov 29th 2002
PR letter received Dec 5th 2002
Appointment on Dec 19th 2002

Good luck to everyone

Congratulations!!! That was quick and painless!!!!

Questions if you may!

1. Did your e-client status show the change?

2. When you called for your case status did they confirm the AIP was
issued?

Thanks and good luck in your new life!

This is very encouraging for the many who have been hearing that Inland is
slow. Up to now the usual time line has been a year or more.

1) Yes it did.
I got a call from immigration to send them a fax with my last passport
stamp. And they told me I would get AIP as well. The day after that
phonecall my Eclient was updated.

I never called CIC. But I know other people who called, and they were
told they were getting their AIP and stuff.

Good luck,
Rianne

Yes, we've been in process for more than a year now, and we keep hearing
"we're waiting for the background check"... For someone who's had 2 traffic
fines, and not only lived in the same state and city, but same NEIGHBOURHOOD
his whole life, it's a very frustrating wait!

Congratulations to those of you who are getting "it".
