Got IA
Hello Friends
Got my IA today (letter postmarked on 12th Jan 2006)
timeline Appl 29th NoV 2004
AOR 10th MArch 2005
IA 16th Jan 2006
since my brother is in canada they have asked for additional documents to support that.
so what all documents should i send to prove that. I already had sent his SSN copy and a notarized letter of support with my initial application.
Mr. Miller can you suggest something.
will be more than happy to reply to any questions

Re: Got IA
To prove claim of having qualifying relative in Canada the following evidence must be provided in all cases:
1. Set of birth certificates proving the relationship - in your case it will be yours and your brother's birth certificates showing that you have at least one same parent
2. Proof of claimed relative's status in Canada - copy of PR card, citizenship card, Canadian birth certificate or Canadian passport
3. Claimed relative's Canadian ID's - copies of driver license and health card
4. Evidence conclusively proving that claimed relative actually lives permanently in Canada - utility bills, residence rental agreement, employment or school attendance record, etc.
